What goods should anyone visiting Germany buy?
There's the dolly horses from Sweden, wooden clogs from Holland, etc., ...but what is there in Germany? Besides for beer, Rhine wine, and chocolate, please

It kind of depends on what region of Germany you are traveling to. E.g. if you go to Bavaria, then the suggestions of the hat / dirndl dress / leather trousers are great, but anywhere but in Bavaria you won't really be able to find them! If you go to the Northern part of Germany close to the ocean, you could get a ship in a bottle, if you go to Cologne you could get something with the cathedral on it (or in it... thinking of snow globes or such things). If you go to Berlin you could either get the Berlin bear (little teddy bear) or a jar of "original Berlin air" (NOT joking here, they really sell that, cause there was once a famous song about the air of Berlin!). Maybe you can specify the region you are going to visit so you may get better advice (and less disappointment!).
And for food things to buy, I'd definitely recommend getting some "Gummibears"
