Re relocating: What suggestions do you have for cities/towns to consider moving to knowing the following...?
I want to rent for under $750.00 per month (eventually buy).
I enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, running, snow shoeing, etc.
I appreciate a change of seasons preferably without extreme temperatures.
I'm a new, Registered Nurse.
I'm recently single and avoid clubs and bar scene to meet others.
Choose a calmer lifestyle than huge- city-living, although need enough culture/"happenings" than a tiny, rural town.
I 'd like to relocate from Orange County --Southern California to a place that also has a decent job market/economy but has reduced cost of living, a change of seasons and a more = "down - to- earth," attitude.
Any Suggestions?
If you are a nurse, you can live just about anywhere you want because nursing is in demand in every state in the US. How about upstate New York or even the midwest like Cincinnati or Cleveland, or Nashville. Nashville is a happening town, more culture than you might expect and reasonable cost of living.
