Ipods - Can you remove the music from your PC once it is transferred to the Ipod?
I transferred music to my ipod a while ago, so I decided to remove it from my PC. When I wanted to add more music to my Ipod, it removed the first lot because it was no longer on my PC - does this always happen or is there a way of stopping this without storing all the files on your PC and clogging up the memory?
The manual loading of music from the IPod does work, but there is an alternative which you could try. You can buy a huge 250gig USB hard drive for less than £60, you could then keep all your music on that. It would also give you space to back up any important files such as school, college or university work photos indeed anything which you would not want to lose. I have answered many questions on here where people have had a hard drive problem and lost all their work. My answer is always back up everything. Hope this helps.
