What is the best kind of ballet shoe for a 12 year old begginer/intermediate?
are you a beginner dancer or beginner pointe? If youre beginning pointe, i started pointe at age 11 and the shoe that was great for me was a freed.... if your beginning ballet all together leather ballet slippers are probably the best..i personally like canvas but didnt start wearing them until i was in my teens.... But just remember... everyone is different and has different feet. Whats right for you is not always right for the next person. Your best bet is to go to your local dance wear store and get fitted. Most people at these stores are trained to fit shoes for everyone.... Good Luck!
